A Realization About Myself
It's strange that you wake up one morning and your entire perspective of the world is changed. I woke from my bed feeling as if my inner kid in me died. I was a teenager and I knew I had responsibilities. There was no time for games. You look at those around you and you recognize the ones that are irresponsible and the ones that are immature.
Life is tough. You got to know how to take advantage of life and make the most of it. You have no time for games and babying. You either change or get left behind. That was the day I matured and became more serious in life. I still have the same personality, but I'm a new man. I know how to act and think about my choice of words before I say them. It's simple really. All it took was a push to act more mature and be more serious.
If you act immature in high school, people are not going to respect you. You will have such a hard time making friends until you mature and wake up to the fact that acting childish makes you seem less serious and driven. You need to realize that life calls on the people who are making wise and rational choices and not taking stuff for granted. Welcome to maturing, its when you wake up and get serious about life.
